How to turn a raw, open space in a new development into a distinctive theme restaurant that pays homage to a much-loved vintage sister space? Call DMAC. David Droese of Droese Raney Architecture and the event-planning/design duo of Todd Fiscus and Rob Dailey did just that. After completing the wildly successful remodel of Tillman's Oak Cliff space, the DMAC team was called back to convert new space in Fort Worth into the culinary wonderland Tillman's is known for. From turning tons of steel framing into a unique bar facade to lining walls with cross-cut birch trees, the artistic flair inherent to DMAC's work belies underlying electrical, mechanical and plumbing installations that keep Tillman's humming efficiently as well as beautifully.
