construction, architect, dallas, fort worth

The urban owner of this 1950s cottage commissioned DMAC to open up the living space and create a sleeker mid-century look. In the kitchen, we removed clunky upper cabinets and installed open shelving and a free-standing stack to enhance an air of openness and grace. We upgraded the master bath with a walk-in shower of frosted glass and devised a unique cantilevered vanity. In the living areas, we increased the sense of space with French doors in the dining room and a frosted single-pane custom front door. An upgraded electrical system helped keep the enhanced light and flow in the space operating efficiently.
